It may not be true every day, but this was a good day for some young patients at Children's Hospital at UMC.
NASCAR driver Brennan Newberry and BMX rider Ricardo Laguna stopped by on Tuesday to visit the kids.
Newberry showed them around his car while Laguna talked about making a living riding a bike.
Newberry also spent some time inside the hospital to visit children who were too sick to come outside.
K&N Pro Series West alumni, Brennan Newberry is in town for this weekend's NASCAR truck race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
At 23 years of age, Newberry from Bakersfield, California is in his second year in the Camping World Truck Series. He is eighteenth in the point standing.
