Join Jeff Gordon, Chad Knaus, Ray Evernham and other members of the racing community this Wednesday, September 11th at CMC-NorthEast Stadium as 16 teams compete for "Best Kickball Team in Town."
Held on National Day of Service, the inaugural Charlotte Kicks-It kickball tournament will raise money for children's cancer research at Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte. Teams will compete for a one of a kind trophy at CMC-NorthEast Stadium, home of the Kannapolis Intimidators baseball team.
A donation grants fans access to the family-friendly event, which begins at 5 p.m. local time. In addition to the game, there will be a Kid's Zone, Kid's Art Market, silent auction and concessions. For more information or to donate, visit http://www.kick-it.org/events/charlotte-kicks-it.
Gordon, as pictured above, competed in a charity kickball game last season with members of the media at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
CMC-NorthEast Stadium is located at 2888 Moose Road in Kannapolis, NC.
