The Smiths welcomed their son, Rhett Lee into the world on Wednesday, February 25th 2015, an off day for NASCAR drivers.

Dad, Regan Smith will start today’s XFINITY Series’ Lakes Region 200 at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway from eighth on the starting grid.
He has one NASCAR Sprint Cup win in 2011 and four Xfinity Series wins (1 each in 2012 & 2014 and 2 in 2013)
